Well not quite yet but now is the time to start thinking about any holiday campaigns or marketing. For businesses large and small it’s key to start planning early to ensure your campaign is a success.

Here are some tips for getting started.

  1. Start early. You really want your Christmas campaign designed and ready to go by the end of October. The build-up to the festive period is an essential time to get your product seen.

  2. Review last year’s campaign. Check back over previous campaigns to see what performed well and what didn’t. Was there a particular email, copy or call to action that brought in most sales?

  3. Know your audience. Has Covid and the last 18 months changed your target audience? In order to stand out from the crowd, you really need to understand your audience to be heard.

  4. Pick a theme. Choose a simple theme that will work across multiple channels as consistency is key.

  5. Create a schedule. We all know how busy the run-up to Christmas can get and there are some key dates you’ll want to hit. Scheduling your content is a great way to ensure your marketing is going out at the right time.
