Brand identity for an award-winning outdoor adventure centre
Nae Limits
Nae Limits is an outdoor adventure company based in the Scottish Highlands, offering guided experiences across canyoning, kayaking, rafting and more. They were looking to refresh their brand identity to better reflect the energy, confidence and professionalism of the experiences they deliver, while retaining elements of their existing logo.

The challenge
The brief was to retain elements of the existing logo while bringing the overall identity up to date. The business had built recognition over time, so it was important not to lose that familiarity or disconnect from existing customers. Any changes needed to feel considered and respectful of what was already there.
At the same time, the identity no longer reflected the quality and energy of the experiences on offer. As an outdoor adventure company, the brand needed to feel confident and dynamic, while still communicating trust, safety and professionalism. Striking that balance was key.

The approach
This was a brand identity project focused on evolution rather than reinvention. I started by refining the existing logo, simplifying and strengthening key elements to give it a cleaner, more contemporary feel, while keeping enough of its original character to remain recognisable.
Alongside the logo, I developed a considered colour palette and a set of supporting graphic elements. These were designed to work flexibly across different touchpoints, helping to bring more consistency to everything from digital platforms to printed materials.
The outcome
The result is a more confident and cohesive brand that feels both familiar and refreshed. The updated identity better reflects the experience customers can expect - professional, well-run and genuinely adventurous.
It also provides the business with a clearer visual system to work from. With stronger consistency across their materials, the brand now feels more established and recognisable, giving them a solid foundation as they continue to grow.
